5 common mistakes when making noise with a dog

You’ve probably heard it a thousand times, but scolding your dog when he doesn’t do anything wrong is totally counterproductive. The animal does not understand why it scolds it and this generates mistrust and uncertainty.
Use a simple “no” when the dog urinates in a place where it shouldn’t or does something you don’t like and try to teach them to change their negative habits. Practicing obedience or identifying the causes of your puppy’s misconduct should be a priority, it should never be used to scold you.
Exaggerating is always bad, no matter how “naughty” the dog commits. You can never scold for more than a minute or use inappropriate methods such as aggression, electrical collars or suffocation. Closing or acting unpredictably or aggressively are practices you should never use.
If you notice that your dog is looking the other way, licking all the time, closing your eyes a little or showing your teeth with a sad face, these are alarming signs of excessive noise. Stop immediately. A very famous example of “excessive reprimand” is the popular video of the repentant dog, in which you can identify signs that tell us that the dog is suffering and that it should no longer be rebuked.

Dogs communicate their discomfort by barking and growling against other dogs or people. It is very important that if you observe this behavior in your dog, call a qualified professional, as this is an obvious wake-up call that needs to be resolved as quickly as possible.
If there is one thing that can be worse than all the above, it is incompatible with the education and permissiveness of your dog. For example, you can’t scold for doing something that’s normally allowed. Dogs need stability, a sense of safety and comfort at all times.
If you allow your dog to get on the couch, but I’m sure you’ll mistreat it for this reason, the poor animal will feel confused and increase its stress when you feel disoriented. This may not seem like much, but the truth is, for your dog, you’re your world. Don’t do anything that might hurt you.
