Why shouldn’t you give these foods to your guinea pig?
Animal products such as meat, eggs or milk are not highly recommended because guinea pigs are herbivorous animals, i.e. they feed only on products of plant origin. In any case, we must give you this kind of food.
Some species or plants, even if they are of plant origin, are also not suitable because in large quantities they can be toxic. This is the case of ivy, for example, which is also toxic to dogs and cats.
Finally, sugar-containing products are totally discouraged because they are not foods that should be eaten by a guinea pig. Its consequences include blindness, bowel problems, etc.
