As a base for making ice cream, we decided to use vegetable rice milk and sugar-free natural yogurt. The latter is not harmful to dogs as it is low in lactose, being a good food supplement for home-fed dogs. See this article for more dog supplements.
If you prefer, you can use a yogurt without lactose or water, your dog will also like it. However, never use cow’s milk because dogs do not digest the ingredient well.
Here are some of the fruits and vegetables recommended for dogs, but you can use others that you find more beneficial or like. Keep in mind that if your dog is hypersensitive or allergic, it is best to offer you a water ice cream and a meal or vegetable that you can easily digest. Consult your veterinarian if in doubt.
We use parchment paper and a rubber band to cover the ice and prevent it from tipping over.
Let the ice freeze for a whole day. When ready, it can be difficult to remove them from the container, so use your hands to heat the plastic a little.
